Brass Chandeliers With a Modern or Antique Look to Add Shine to Your Home Lighting, by Quoizel and Kenton
Chandeliers come in many shapes and sizes, and constructed from various materials, including metals such as brass wrought iron, aluminum, bamboo and ceramics. The also come in prices from cheap to very expensive.
Brass chandeliers are a good option if you are looking for shiny metal chandelier. As you can see from the pictures here, even restricting yourself to brass can give you a variety of choice in style and price range. Also, you can find both modern or antique looking brass chandeliers.

The first picture is of a simple brass chandelier in the cheaper price range. This chandelier, by Kenton, has five lights with white fabric shades. Contemporary in style, it is the type of chandelier that can go well in most modern homes, as it does not need a large room with high ceiling.
The second brass chandelier (left) is far more elaborate, and in a much higher price range. It is also more what most people would imagine if you mention chandeliers. Made by Quoizel, the Pineapple chandelier is a candleabra style with polished brass finish. Being over 4 ft in height, this focal point ceiling light does require a high ceiling and large room or entrance hall to show off to good effect.
The final picture (left) is another Quoizel chandelier, this time the Williamsburg candleabra style brass chandelier. This is even further up the price range, but beautifully styled and polished.
Brass does make a good material for light construction, including chandeliers, but for best effect it does need regular cleaning and polishing.
