Fruit Chandeliers For a Natural Touch to Your Lighting Decor
One of the more unusual types of chandelier is the chandelier decorated with fruit. These can make unusual items of decor, as well as being a main source of light in your room. Fruit chandeliers can also reveal some artistic designs and craftsmanship, a bonus addition to your interior design.

Some of the chandeliers with fruit decoration have the effect of the plants actually growing through the chandelier. A good example of this effect is shown in the picture on the left. This simple chandelier, with an antique iron finish, has a grapevine "growing" through it.
Grapes are a popular fruit for chandeliers because of the way the vine can be so artistically and decoratively used, and the pleasing way bunche
s of grapes hang.

Other fruits, though, are used for chandelier decoration. The chandelier on the left is more liberally decorated with strawberries. The strawberry plant is a trailer, so again lends itself nicely to weaving through the chandelier, creating a unique effect.
Back to the grape vine with the final picture on the left. This simple two light chandelier has just two bunches of grapes, and a short thread of vine and leaves. Again using hand painted iron, this chandelier has some rustic appeal.
One of the difficulties you may find with the more ornate fruit chandeliers is blending it well with the rest of your room decor and colour scheme. But maybe that is a challenge worth facing if the idea of a fruit chandelier appeals to you.
