Rustic Chandeliers For Home, Lodge and Cabin Decor
Chandeliers conjure up an image of grandeur and vast ornate halls, in the homes of the wealthiest people in the land. However, chandeliers have evolved several times over the centuries, and today's range is bigger than ever. A grand home is not necessary to display some contemporary chandeliers. In fact, even a lodge or cabin is an ideal place to add a rustic chandelier for your main lighting in some rooms.
Rustic chandeliers can come in a number of styles and made from a number of materials. Amongst the most popular for lodges and cabins are reproduction antler chandeliers (left). The example shown is moulded from real antlers. With the unique nature of each set of antlers, they make an individual chandelier that will bring rustic charm to your lodge hideaway, or other country home whose decor is rustic in style.

Pine trees are very much part of the rustic scene, and even they have been brought into rustic chandelier designs. The chandelier pictured left is made from pine twigs, sculpted from resin and metal. The pine bark frames of the lights shades have a warm rustic appeal, incorporating amber mica shades that will give a lovely glow to your lodge for your evening's relaxation.
Wrought iron is a wonderful material for rustic decor, and is effectively used in chandeliers. The example in the picture (left), is further enhanced by faux leather shades made from two tone vinyl. The wrought iron has an antique pewter finish, and is beautifully sculpted, displaying wrought iron at its best.
